Story #3: A broken promise



Mary and Sara were best friends. One day Mary told "Oh Sara, I am so excited!" I am keeping a surprise party for all our classmates.

they will know about it when they get the invitation card. So let it be stay a secret till then.

Alas ! Sara couldn't keep the secret. The next day she told everyone about the party.

the surprise party was not a surprise party anymore.

When Mary came to know about this she got angry with Sara. She went to her and said angrily "You have broken your promise, you couldn't even keep a little secret"
i will never talk to you.

Sara apologized but Mary did not forgive her.

Mary's mother saw scolding Sara. then Mary came to home.

Her mother asked "What happened, why did you scold Sara.?"

Mary told her mother everything.

her mother smiled and said good friends are rare, never let these small things break your friendship. she made a mistake and apologized. you should forgive her.

now call her and ask her to come here.

Mary understood, and she called Sara. Sara came and said i am very sorry Mary.

Mary smiled and said, its alright Sara. I am sorry too. i should have forgiven you, when you apologized first.

Now help us color these greeting cards.

moral: Forgive people if they realize their mistake.

A terrible birthday...

I woke up in the morning, waiting to hear the screams that every one expect once in a year, and sorry i forgot to introduce myself. I am Rupa, and i am 11years old today. So where were we? Ahh.. Just as i woke up, to look around, there was no one. No screams wishing me happy birthday and singing a song to me that goes "happy birth day to you, happy birth day to you...." But it was like a plain old desert with no one at all. So i went in to check the living room. They were just normal doing what ever they want.
